Filmmaking Courses: Winter Sessions

Playmaker Motion Pictures is excited to be present a series of three filmmaking courses. Whether you are looking to channel your creativity through learning the fundamentals of film production or want to learn to basics of editing, the courses are suitable for film enthusiasts or aspiring filmmakers of any level. All courses are made available through the Louis Riel School Division Continuing Education Department.

C U @ C4 - Central Canadian Comic Con

Playmaker Motion Pictures is excited to be participating at Central Canadian Comic Con 2014. Come and visit us at table 144 in Artists' Alley to check out our latest publication, The Travelling Creepshow. The Travelling Creepshow is an anthology of short stories of horror. Winnipeg artist, Cara Adams illustrated the cover and will be at the table selling prints. Also available will be DVDs, t-shirts, and other promotions. On the Saturday, be sure to be on the look out for the monster from Mockingbird. He will be around...somewhere. Stop by and say hello! 

Open Call for Short Films (Horror)

Submission: Free 

Playmaker Motion Pictures is accepting submissions for Scream Screen: Short Horror Cinema 2014. Scream Screen is an evening of short films in the genre of horror/suspense and will be presented in Winnipeg on October 31-November 1. 

In order to submit, filmmakers must be 18 years of age or order, own the rights to their work and complete a submission application form. Films should be under 20 minutes, including credits.
